About the founder

I’m Meaghan

I’m the mother of two beautiful kids, Lincoln and Ruby, and a Registered Massage Therapist. I’ve been doing Infant CST since 2018. Apart from spending time with my kids, I love everything babies.

I am also the founder of Beames CST Training Centre – an academy where I train other health professionals to help babies the way that I’m able to do!

I love babies

I’ve always been obsessed with babies, but it was my first pregnancy when my fascination with birth began. I read all of the books! And I thought I was prepared for anything.

And then there came breastfeeding. I was in so much pain, and dreaded every feed for weeks.

If only I had learned that Craniosacral therapy could be used for breastfeeding sooner – our early breastfeeding experience could have been much easier.

I was inspired

I was inspired by my first birth to become a doula. I took the Maternal Support Practitioner training through BeboMia, but the On-Call life really isn’t for me. I wanted to be self-employed, but I wanted a set schedule.

I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life, and while listening to a podcast one day the host was interviewing a craniosacral therapist for babies. I had the biggest AH HA! moment of my life! I knew I would become a Craniosacral Therapist, but it took almost 2 years before I could actualize my dream.

After I had my second baby in 2018, I traveled to Portland, Oregon (with said baby) to study with Carol Gray, LMT, CST, RPYT. She has beautifully curated a program specifically for Infant and Pregnancy / Postpartum Craniosacral Therapy.
