I love babies
I’ve always been obsessed with babies, but it was my first pregnancy when my fascination with birth began. I read all of the books! And I thought I was prepared for anything.
And then there came breastfeeding. I was in so much pain, and dreaded every feed for weeks.
If only I’d known then that craniosacral therapy could help. Our experience could have been so different.
I was inspired
During my mat-leave, I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my new life with a baby, and heard a podcast interview with a craniosacral therapist for babies. I had the biggest AH HA moment of my life and I knew this was my calling.
In 2018, with baby Ruby in tow, I traveled to Portland, Oregon to train with Carol Gray in Infant Craniosacral Therapy. But I didn’t stop there. I’ve since trained in Pregnancy/Postpartum CST, Visceral Manipulation and Rhythmic Movement Therapy because babies need more than one tool, and I’m committed to mastering everything that can help them thrive.
I also understand how overwhelming it is to navigate multiple appointments across the city when you’re exhausted. That’s why I built MyBaby: a place where families could get the comprehensive care they need under one roof, without telling their story five times to five different practitioners.
Today, our multi-disciplinary team helps families ease the transition from womb to world. Our practitioners include IBCLCs, SLPs, and alternative health professionals who work together to support your family. We’re here to help you actually enjoy this stage instead of dreading it.
